Problem: Broken switch plastic!!!
Solution: New plastic

Cost new: £50
Cost of fix:0

Success?: Yes

We have gotten so many of these coffee grinders and I hate whoever designed this coffee grinder. The whole principle of how the switch works is that it relies on the flexing of a piece of plastic. The plastic is used instead of using a metal spring which I assume is either more expensive, or they want to ensure it breaks after a number of fatigue cycles of the plastic. Screw these guys.

Take off the snapped plastic, and replace with a new piece of plastic that’s a bit thicker and work it until it switches properly. In future avoid these grinders at all cost!!!
